Located on Mexico’s west coast Cancun is the shining star of what is known as the Mexican Caribbean. Cancun is a specifically made tourist resort with everything geared towards catering for holidaymakers, especially the dedicated hotel zone. There are numerous places to stay on Cancun holidays, with accommodation ranging from budget rooms to luxury hotels like Hilton and Hyatt.

It generally takes little to convince people to choose Cancun holidays over anywhere else because of the great natural beauty found around the resort. You will find around 14 miles of breathtaking white beaches with turquoises waters and a fascinating underworld of caves. There is much archaeological interest in the region too as there are ancient Mayan ruins and temples all over the resort some of which is found in the flourishing jungle. With so much jaw dropping beauty you may want to spend your time taking in the many picturesque sights on Cancun holidays.

When its feeding time on Cancun holidays you truly will be spoilt for choice, it’s best to try a few places during your stay as that way you will have a chance to try a great variety of traditional Mexican cuisine. Whilst you can enjoy plenty of Mexican dishes you will also find many restaurants serving other popular dishes like Italian and Chinese, there is also some fantastic seafood restaurants within the resort. You will find places that are great for eating during the day and others that are more appropriate for evening dining as some have live music which some people will find a distraction.
