When its summer and you want to escape with that special someone then you’ll be happy to know there are plenty of perfect destinations to satisfy every couple’s holidays. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing two weeks by the pool or at the beach enjoying your surroundings or perhaps fancy a bit of exploring and extreme excursions to enjoy the tropical scenery the opportunities are out there.

Many couples enjoy places that offer much to do during the day like shopping, tours, exploring and perhaps a few water sports and there are many great places they can head to enjoy this. For the best couples holidays you will want to consider places in the Canary Islands like Maspalomas where there is a long area white sanded dunes that lead down the southern coast of Gran Canaria. Maspalomas is considered the oldest tourist resort on the island so you can expect many great facilities and activities available. The neighbouring island of Tenerife is the most popular of the Canary Islands and has many resorts to suit all holidaymakers with Playa de las Americas where there is a fantastic nightlife to be had or quieter areas like Puerto de Santiago. Some areas are more relaxed than others but all offer the chance to take a trip to the top of Mount Teide which unlocks some breathtaking views of the island.

If you consider some of the Balearic Islands for your couple’s holidays you’re more likely to find a good nightlife in the resorts, though that is not a guarantee. Most resorts on Ibiza have many bars to enjoy an extended night if not a late one, though the closer you are to San Antonio Bay the more your options open up. Majorca is very similar if you head to the south west of the island where both Magaluf and the Palma are located there are various opportunities to enjoy a late night.

There are various places filled with a variety of things to do and see whilst enjoying couples holidays abroad.
