If you head to through the Mediterranean you will find plenty of great resorts that offer temperatures over 20°C though can be chilly over the nights during the winter time. Those places include Majorca, Ibiza, Cyprus along with the island surrounding the coasts of Turkey and Greece. The Canary Islands are a popular area for December holidays especially at the southern coasts where the temperatures are the highest. Maspalomas is a great resort in the south of Gran Canaria that is highly thought of, also Tenerife’s Los Gigantes. The temperatures will be slightly higher by about 5 degrees or so.

For really warm heat you will have to be willing to spend a bit more and head to places either in the Caribbean, North Africa, Seychelles or even head to Australia. You can expect to get summer heat in those areas whilst on December holidays but again they can be pricey. You will be able to get a reasonable price for North African resorts like Marrakech in Morocco or Sharm el Sheikh but will demand a higher fee. However, one good thing is that the price won’t as expensive as during summer so if you really wanted to visit the Caribbean for example using December holidays will be a cheaper option and you will still enjoy great weather.
