Sure Britain has some great country side areas to visit and really enjoyable camping trips to go on and excitable lakes to see, but it’s not 30°C with cloudless skies, white sands and Mai Tai’s at midnight, there is no way around it holidays abroad win.
I appreciate a bit of countryside from time to time but to all you inland travellers it’s time to take those wellies off, hang those cagoules up and throw your beanie hat out, head to a beach located somewhere near the equator and bring some colour to your skin. What terracotta is too flooring the sun is to skin so you want to come home with a Mediterranean look rather than a windswept one. Plus you can find some better sights around the world than you can than you will be all cramped in a tent in marsh land. Holidays abroad are the answer to that problem.
The hills of New Zealand sound a little more tempting than a trip to Ben Nevis. Redcar beach or head to Mexico’s Riviera Maya. If you got two wrong answers there then you are in desperate need of not just a holiday but holidays abroad. Fear not you can be helped if you still need to hike a little here and there than fine but try somewhere with a bit tropical where the sights are that much more pleasing to the eye.
Holidays abroad don’t have to be in hot countries despite my massive bias towards them, you could take a trip to Lapland and hang out with Santa Claus or if you must conquer something try the K2 in east Asia. So my advice to those who haven’t ventured outside of the British Isles is do it! If only the once to see how it goes, and to those who do have awesome holidays abroad!!!
