September is the final month of the summer holiday season, well for the party people at least. All the big clubs are signing off, the resorts are taking the mattresses from off the roofs and the staff will spend the rest of the time till next summer unclogging the toilets. Ah, September holidays the last hurray before winter.

Not everyone see’s this the same way as all the family folk are back to work and school respectively. I suppose some may try to be cheeky and book their September holidays over the first few weeks of the school term, with resorts quieting down it could be a good time to visits as prices will remain strong but fact that there is less people might be the winning factor.

The weather remains hot and temperatures in the Mediterranean, for example, will be around 20oC so September holidays have the sun required for a beach bum type holiday. If bronzing up isn’t all your into then pretty much the whole of the nightlife available is still on going all the super clubs close towards the end of September so check your dates when booking.

Couples might perhaps enjoy September holidays above most sorts that travel, with summer sun and a good nightlife but not as much of the crowds it is ideal. The beach won’t be as crowded so late night walks on the beach in the moonlight are on the cards, without a county rugby team streaking. A quiet drink in a bar on the strip, without baby bellied teenagers throwing up on your favourite clobber.

Whilst September holidays won’t be completely empty they will be quieting down so with that knowledge and the fact prices are pretty much the same as July and August you need only be thinking what atmosphere you want be heading into.
